MykeB. “The Label” born and raised in Midland, TX, has been singing since the tender age of 6.
His voice commands stages internationally and most frequently in his now home of Austin, TX.
Often likened to John Legend, MykeB's vocal journey began in the church and helped shape his powerhouse soulful sound.
His hometown is not an environment where the arts are often cultivated; however Myke B. Was determined to access his dreams.
He took every opportunity to lead a solo or participate in musical theatre production at church and school.
He would often fly to Houston, TX to visit his cousins who owned a studio and taught him how to work record and write songs.
Myke B. knew his dreams were bigger than his current surroundings and after high school he would embark on his college journey in Atlanta where he soon realized his potential to make it!
Atlanta transformed Myke B. from a dreamer to a man with a plan.
He joined the Joel A Katz Music Business Program, through which he interned and worked at ASCAP, The Recording Academy and studied music business abroad in London, England.
After graduating college Myke B. relocated to Austin, TX where he continued to seek out music opportunities.
In 2016 he received his largest contract to be the front man at the Hard Rock Cafe in Seoul Korea.
This was the moment Myke B. says defined his career as a performing artist.
“I performed 6 days a week for 90 days straight!
This gig showed me I had the chops to hit the stage day after day and imposter syndrome faded.
I was the star on that stage and it was my right to be there!”
The Label is a creative entrepreneur and has harnessed the power of music along with his Masters degree in Conflict Management to consult and innovate small businesses with tools to enhance and attract consumers to their brands.
Currently Myke performs in Austin, TX full time with Moontower Entertainment, a premier booking company for public and private gigs.
Myke B. plays over 100 shows annually and also travels abroad to share his talents.
